How it works

Find out more on how we give a new purpose to unwanted clothes.

Fabrics For Change!

1. You Act To Make A Difference
Drop your clothes, shoes and textiles into any Clothes Pod. Every item is a valuable resource that can be reused or recycled.

2. We Collect
Our collection team collect the clothing from the Pods regularly and forwards them to approved sorting and recycling facilities.

3. Sorting & Reuse
At these facilities, items are carefully and professionally inspected. Clothes in good condition are prepared for reuse and resale, supporting second-hand markets both locally and internationally. Items that cannot be reused are forwarded to specialist facilities where they are recycled into new products such as insulation, padding and industrial textiles.

4. A Trusted Supply Chain
Recent independent third-party monitoring has confirmed that clothing collected through Clothes Pod is routed only through reputable, specialist facilities. No items have been tracked to landfill or unmanaged destinations. This means you can have full confidence that your unwanted clothes are getting another life and are making a real, positive contribution to a circular economy.

Clothes Pod operates under Waste Collection Permit No. NWCPO-08-01225-04 and is an authorised Broker/Dealer with the National Transfrontier Shipment Office (Registration No. IRE/G030/26), the competent authority regulating the shipment of used textiles. We are fully insured to work with Local Authorities and licensed partners nationwide, ensuring all used textiles are collected, sorted and repurposed responsibly.
